You probably do not know what “Community Interest Company” is. It is a form of a private limited company with a slight modification: it’s object is not profit, but community interest, there are no dividends and no shareholders. All the money C.I.C. makes must be spend on statutory goals. Which is exactly what we’ve been doing anyways, so C.I.C. is perfect legal solution for us.
Our company exists since September 2022, but the real work started back in 2005 when Martin Lechowicz created his long-running podcasts – see odwyk.com. Some years later he found out that some listeners want more than just to listen. He got us together and soon we started to meet, share ideas and help each other. And finally we decided to get ourselves organized and build something bigger.
It all started in Poland, but now we live in many countries, speak many languages and enjoy many types of music, food and books.
What we do?
We create, promote and run international educational projects, most of the on the Internet. We run podcasts, live shows, blogs, develop little computer games and do some writing and publishing. All educational content is available for free to everyone.
After last year’s very successful camp in Ukraine, we decided to organize our own English Language Camps.
Who runs the company?
The directors of the company are Martin Lechowicz and Hubert Sebesta. The company has also 7 guarantors, the most reliable and responsible people we could find who understand well our goals. They take care of the company, choose directors and make most important decisions.
What have we done so far?
In 2023 we sent our volunteers to help with a Christian Camp for young people in Ukraine. It was run by a local Baptist Church as Grapevine Youth Camp.
We keep publishing and promoting Odwyk, a podcast where Martin talks about the Bible, God, universe and sometimes laughs about it. If you are lucky enough to speak Polish check out www.odwyk.com.

What are the plans?
Our next big project is a brand new International English Language Camp in Poland in summer 2024.
We are also in the process of developing a website with interactive stories called Backside of God, but it’s too soon to talk about it. We have little time and not enough money and it’s more work than you think.
Recently we established a partnership with Friends of Hendicap in Rwanda charity. Together we plan to carry out some projects in Africa in the future. Today our budget is tiny. Microscopic.
